Description
Introducing the NEUSPEED Short Shift Kit for VW P35/MQB 5-Speed– a focused, purpose-built upgrade engineered to tighten up shift feel and shorten throw, all while preserving factory drivability. Precision CNC-machined and built from solid cast steel, this kit is the ideal blend of strength, weight, and shifting precision for the daily-driven enthusiast.Unlike lightweight aluminum alternatives, our cast steel construction adds a deliberate weight to the shift linkage, providing a natural, solid throw feel that enhances confidence during every gear change. The dense material ensures long-term durability, while CNC machining ensures an exact fit on the selector shaft — eliminating the risk of spline wear or installation misalignment. With an aggressive ~40% reduction in shift throw, this kit delivers the most dramatic shift shortening possible without compromising the cable mechanism. It’s the perfect bolt-on solution for drivers looking to bring a sportier, more mechanical feel to their 5-cylinder Jetta — no cable adjustments, no headaches.
